Exercise Pays Off

February 23rd, 2014 at 07:33 pm

I've been a life-long runner. Well since I was 12. I run daily, as in everyday. About once a month I find loose change on the road. 5 years ago I found a $20 bill one morning.

Today that was topped. Found this on the side of the road. Mushed into some gravel and leftover road-salt. I'd like to put it into one of our retirement accounts. My bride wants me to take her out to dinner.

If your asking for opinions...I'd vote for DW, mother of 13 .

My husband found a twenty in our yard after we moved in. I'd love it if we found $50. Put towards retirement, but take your wife on an extra date, too. Smile

Wow, that's something. You must attract money to have found something like that. This isn't ordinary income. I say treat your wife as well. Although it may not be enough. I went out to lunch today and the bill for 2 came to $40!

I vote for a pizza party for the whole family!

Maybe do both - use part of it for dinner out, and the rest towards retirement.

Very nice. And a healthy activity. And 13 kids? Wow.

Thanks for the many good ideas and thoughts. I think we are gonna either go out to dinner, just the two of u,s or get a bunch of pizzas for the kids. I'll let my wife decide.
But I am also gonna squeeze $50 out of March's budget (February's budget is already squeezed to death) and add an extra $50 to one of our savings accounts.
